Course Description
This course specifies the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a vehicle loading crane with a Maximum Rated Capacity (MRC) of 10 metre tonnes or more. Vehicle loading crane means a crane mounted on a vehicle for loading and unloading the vehicle.
Course Content:
The course outlines the following:
Course Requirements: Dogging High-Risk Work Licence, 100 points of identification, adequate literacy & numeracy, USI number, minimum age 18, appropriate clothing hi-vis shirt and covered shoes or boots, food and drinks.
Mode of Delivery: Face to face training
Location: 26 Piper Drive Ballina or at your work site (for groups)
Course Outcome: Upon successful completion participants will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment in Licence to operate a vehicle loading crane TLILIC0002 from North Coast Training Company and an application for a SafeWork NSW High Risk Work Licence.
Course Fees: A deposit of $1,000 is required within 7 days of enrolment, with the balance to be paid upon commencement.
Important: Within 60 days of successfully completing the above course, the applicant MUST take their application form, certificate of competency, evidence of identity, passport photo and $75 for the SafeWork fee to a main Australia Post Office for processing.
Anyone assessed as ‘not yet competent’ can be reassessed on the relevant section after 48 hours from the original assessment date, and before 90 days have elapsed. (After 90 days a full reassessment will be needed)
Note: Licence to Operate a Vehicle loading crane is valid for 5 years.
