Course Description
This course specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. Forklift truck means a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting media made up of a mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other attachments that can be raised 900mm or more above the ground, but does not include a pedestrian-operate truck or pallet truck.
Course Content:
The course outlines the following:
Mode of Delivery: Face to face training
Location: 26 Piper Drive Ballina or at your work site (for groups)
Course Outcome: Upon successful completion participants will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment in Licence to operate a forklift truck TLILIC0003 from North Coast Training Company and an application for a SafeWork NSW High Risk Work Licence.
Course Fees: Full course fee must be paid within 48 hours of enrolment.
Important: Within 60 days of successfully completing the above course, the applicant MUST take their application form, certificate of competency, evidence of identity, passport photo and $90 for the SafeWork fee to a main Australia Post Office for processing.
Anyone assessed as ‘not yet competent’ can be reassessed on the relevant section after 48 hours from the original assessment date, and before 90 days have elapsed. (After 90 days a full reassessment will be needed)
Note: Licence to operate a forklift truck is valid for 5 years.
