TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck

100 points of identification, adequate literacy & numeracy, USI Number, MyService NSW account, (AEN) enrolment number, minimum age 18.

Course Description
This course specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. Forklift truck means a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting media made up of a mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other attachments that can be raised 900mm or more above the ground, but does not include a pedestrian-operate truck or pallet truck.

Course Content:
The course outlines the following:
  • Plan for the work/task
  • Prepare for the work/task
  • Perform work/task
  • Pack up

Course Requirements: 100 points of identification, adequate literacy & numeracy, USI number, MyService NSW account, (AEN) enrolment number, minimum age 18, appropriate clothing hi-vis shirt and covered shoes or boots, food and drinks.

Mode of Delivery: Face to face training

Location: 26 Piper Drive Ballina or at your work site (for groups)


Course Outcome: Upon successful completion participants will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment in Licence to operate a forklift truck TLILIC0003 from North Coast Training Company and an application for a SafeWork NSW High Risk Work Licence.

Course Fees: Full course fee must be paid within 48 hours of enrolment.

Important:
Within 60 days of successfully completing the above course, the applicant MUST go to Service NSW to get a photo taken and complete the emailed NSA/AS form that is emailed 1 hour after completion of the assessment and pay the $90 licence fee.
Anyone assessed as ‘not yet competent’ can be reassessed on the relevant section after 48 hours from the original assessment date, and before 60 days have elapsed. (After 60 days a full reassessment will be needed)

Note: Licence to operate a forklift truck is valid for 5 years.
