Course Description
This course specifies the outcomes required to enter and work in confined spaces. This course includes how to obtain appropriate entry permits, apply tagging and lockout, selecting, wearing and caring for personal protective equipment, using atmospheric monitoring devices, entering, working and exiting the confined space.
Course Content:
The course outlines the following:
Course Requirements: 100 points of identification, USI number, adequate literacy and numeracy, appropriate clothing hi-vis shirt and covered shoes or boots, food and drinks.
Mode of Delivery: Face to face training
Location: 26 Piper Drive Ballina or at your work site (for groups)
Course Fees: Full course fee must be paid within 48 hours of enrolment.
Course Outcome: On successful completion of the written and practical assessments of the course, participants will have the knowledge, skills and ability to be able to safely enter and work in a confined space. A statement of attainment in enter and work in confined spaces RIIWHS202E will be issued and a photo card from North Coast Training Company.
Note: A Refresher course is recommended to be undertaken every 3 years

- Exit confined space
- Clean up
